2020 Utah Legislative Session Wrap-Up

Originally broadcast on RadioWest

Lawmakers wrapped up the 2020 Utah legislative session at the stroke of midnight on Thursday. Friday morning, we're looking back at the past 45 days to discuss what did – and didn’t – happen on Capitol Hill this year. In terms of high profile, controversial bills, it was a slim session . Yes, there was the surprising move to decriminalize polygamy, but there were some other big issues, like education funding, abortion and affordable housing. Guest host and RadioWest producer Benjamin Bombard and our panel of journalists will sift through the issues and ask what they mean for Utahns.
